The Scott Spouses’ Club welcomes you to volunteer with us! Scott AFB holds many exciting functions, and the SSC participates in outreach service projects throughout the year. The SSC works hard to ensure these events and service projects run smoothly by offering our volunteer services. Additionally, the SSC holds our own outreach projects to help organizations in the local community, as well as to serve our base community.
As events needing volunteers come available, we will post a list or sign-up genius link below an on our Facebook page with brief descriptions of each. No experience is necessary; we just want your smiling face and charming personality! Friends and family members are welcome to volunteer too; they just need to be DoD Cardholders to enter the base (if required).

Committees include: Fundraising committee, Charitable Giving committee, Programs committee, Airmen and Family Appreciation committee, Scholarship committee, and more! Scott Consignor Thrift Shop
Although the Scott Consignor Thrift Shop is its own entity, separate from the Scott Spouses' Club, 60% of their proceeds go to the SSC for our Charitable Giving grant program. The volunteers there work tirelessly to keep the shop running and they could use your help! Have some extra time that you can spare to help organize donations or price items? Stop in any time and let them know you're there to help.
Open for sales: Tuesday-Thursday from 10-2
Consignments taken: Tuesday, Thursday, from 10-12, military in uniform until 12:30.
*Consigning is limited to active duty, reservists, retirees and their dependents and Civil Service members of Scott.
Anyone may shop at the Thrift Shop. The Thrift Shop accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit/debit cards.

CMSgt Gene R. Collins' Airman's Attic
The CMSgt Gene R. Collins' Airman's Attic has no ties to the Scott Spouses' Club, but is an amazing resource for active duty service members assigned to Scott AFB in grades of E-1 through E-5 and their immediate family members stationed on Scott AFB. All items are free to eligible shoppers and there is no financial eligibility requirement to shop. Much like the Scott Consignor Thrift Shop, they run on volunteers and can always use some extra hands. Just stop by and donate some of your time!
